So you ever have one of those little doodley things that you had no intent of leaving as is, but end up doing so anyway?
This is one of those things I intended to do a revision of Mark Stewart, who is an icon of the early 80s UK post-punk scene. A founder of the deceptively named Pop Group (they were anything but) his strident talk-sermon delivery of liberal/anarchist jingles was backed by a pummelling wall of punk-jazz-dub noise.
After that, he did a lot of work with Adrian Sherwood and his On-U Sound posse (with the Maffia, New Age Steppers, and various solo releases) which in turn was very influential on the Bristol music scene.
There is a documentary coming out on Stewart this year (featuring interview footage with guys like Nick Cave, Daniel Miller of Mute records, and Sherwood): [link]
Anyway, this is something I just liked as a clean-up and put on a postcard kind of thing. We should all be ok with leaving unfinished finished things finished.
