this came out of the experiment for cascades. like Cascades, I have deep issues with it (it looks too digital, and doesn't quite get the more balanced look between the 3d and the painted elements that I try hard to reach) but thematically I like it., I of course, may change my mind at any who knows.

Originally released as blossom study

acrylic paint, screenprintiung ink, +digital

An engaging analogue of efflorescence.

This picture is amazing. You are my favorite abstract artist I have ever had the pleasure of viewing. Keep up the good work zeruch.

hey, i does look digital but that's something that you have to live with when you create following your methosd i suppose anyway i just want to say i really like the style and the concept if you can call it such i sound so negative, but hey i like it i like the vividness of the whole image and the surface texture of the digitalised image, nice work... x

What the hell is it...? I can't put words to what I feel when I look at it... I simply don't know. It's stunning in a way I've never seen before... maybe in the original sense of the word...

The colours look very natural for some reason.

*their geometry

(and sorry for potential other mistakes, but it's almost 3AM.. but i had to comment)

i love that kind of experiment

it's a fantastic mix of digital and 'traditional' techniques

i like the repetition of the shapes to an uncountable number, their metalic feel, they geometry... very regular, but obviously bendable...

to me this piece MAKES noises, and it's a music i've never heard before

when this was loading i thought the background colours and textures really looked like rocks.
a cliff-face even ;)

the orange section does look a little more 'digital' than alot of you other stuff but i still think it works fantastically and doesnt detract from the overall piece.

great work :)

I absolutely love the colors in this one. They are so briliant... there is no flat color anywhere, everything seems to be a mixture of color tones and shades.

(btw... are you at all familar with Charlie "Bird" Parker? For Christmas I got an album where modern musicians, most of whom I am unfamiliar with, reinterpret some of his stuff. Most of the music is crazy-freaking insane.)

yep, Bird was someone I was exposed to in high-school and I have always respected (but he is not my favourite sax player truth be told). He wrote some great tunes, and the album you speak of I also have (yea for x-mas). I think my favourite track is Me'Shells remake (can't wait for her debut jazz instrumental album next year). Are you a jazzbo or aspiring ? ;)

It is digital, but I love the contrast with actual blossoms. I mean, I can see why it's called that, but the sharpness of the lines makes it more interesting and original. I think it's really cool. You could make one with softer edges and all, but I think it is fine the way it is. It would be interesting to see how else you would do it, though.

Maybe I'm a romantic, but i saw it like a golden city growing. When i read cascades, i thought about Danae's story (and klimt's Danae too).
Hehehe, and I don't use any narcotic substances.

I think it looks beautiful.
