This is (finally) the follow up I mentioned to Dizzy One Bang
. Simple and what seems to evoke the feeling I wanted of Dizzy Gillespie. This time I didn't even add gray tones. The sound bubble from his horn is the word "Tunis" is arabic, which is the name of Tunisia in said language.
For those totally at a loss as to why that is there, one of his most noted tunes is Night in Tunisia (supposedly composed on a trashcan lid late one evening), covered literally by hundreds of artists from Miles Davis and Ella Fitzgerald to Chaka Khan.
The version by him with Charlie Parker blisters paint it's so fast, complex and perfect.
