Artist's Comments

Just one direction of a work I'm trying to complete in time for All Soul's Day/Dia De Los Muertos.

In some ways this is probably different than much of wehat I have published lately, but it is also indicative of a lot of the material I have been pursuing in my workbooks.

I had some doodles that were literally stick figures with added detail and then I found some stock submissions from ~blacksockstock that suited my idea quite well. For those that wonder if the DA stock repo is useful for things other than cheesecake and emo blubbering, it most certainly is, as I have found many images that have been useful references to ideas I had -- and I mine that gallery for that exact purpose (as well as for the portraiture series I have long done).
