chocolate genius v2

So, while I intend to do a much more grand rendering of the man known as Chocolate Genius, this is a quick illo I did with a Japanese brushpen and some acrylics that I kind of grew to like.

Who is CG? His real name is Marc Anthony Thompson, and he is one of the most slept on fellows in music these days. His work is a heady mix that hints at most points of any musical curve (think Radiohead meets Prince meets Tom Waits after listening to James Ulmer all night). He's worked with Yuka Honda (Cibo Matto), Bruce Springsteen, Meshell Ndegeocello, Sweetback/Stuart Matthewman (Sade), and Van Dyke Parks (Beach Boys).
