This one had been brewing a while, with the pencil work done months ago.

When I first joined the site administration, `Astrophel was one of the crew that I met. Nice fellow.

The green suites the foreground blues very well and the overall gestural feel is great because it doesn't compromise the drawing and devotes more interest.

:) very nice
what exactly is gouache anyways? I see it used so often and I really like the style of the works created with it and would like to attemot something similar but I've never known what it is....mostly because I've only recently become confident enough with my pencil work to venture into other media...

Gorgeous, but 2 nitpicky gripes. 1 is that the white triangle, his undershirt or chest i guess, concludes at a point right near the edge of the frame, creating sort of a strange tension. Another is that I don't understand the blotch of white at the bottom that hasn't been colored over.

But I love the colors, trademark zeruch face tones, and treatment of lines.
