I love your color technique, have any tutorials?

I get asked if I have tutorials about how I handle color often enough, but because of the manner by which I "figure things out" is really mostly intuitive and not necessarily logically structured, every time I have tried to write something out, it comes off quite badly.

If I ever succeed in writing one of any sense, I would be quite happy to post it.

i find your use of vivid yet muted colors, and distribution of detail really fascinating. you do it with professional skill.

Thank you kindly. I was a latecomer to using color (didn't dare even touch it until at least a decade into my development) and to date all I have been able to ascertain is that (a) my color sense os a bit skewed, and (b) that I still very much struggle with it.

As to use of detail, that is something that I am in constant conflict over -- I enjoy minimalism and complexity equally, so often I end up making a big mess. But sometimes something interesting happens, and all is well in the world :D

Zeruch...you're incredible. Great work here, I always love how loose these drawings are, yet how well they hold together. You use this same method a lot, but it always looks so good that I don't blame you. Good piece.

I like this one better. It just seems almost like he is frozen because of the blue, and I like the effect.

Nice change from warm to cold. Now all he needs is a crowbar and it's like Gordon Freeman running down Black Mesa corridors.
