Today was the inauguration of the 44th (yes, I know about the Grover Cleveland thing, so don't even try to go there) President of the United States of America.
Since I had recently done an image of Richard Nixon after seeing the film Frost/Nixon, I really leaned into this after hearing the inauguration speech.
I think I am going to go through various POTUS, and marry their faces to interesting quotes.
In this case, Barack Obama is placed with a quote by Edmund Burke. Burke is a philosopical root for modern European/American conservativism. He is also someone that most so-called conservatives today seem to know next to zero about, but that seems to reflect in much of the statements made by Obama in terms of tone and thoughtfulness.
That is not an assessment of policymaking or ideological position, but personal disposition and manner.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
