Hu Jintao

Originally begun last week in a pocket sketchbook while attending SCALE8x: [link]

Originally done with a Pilot G-2 pen (.05) and a Pentel brush for the blacks, I added the bright red and blue after I got back home using some new uni POSCA pens I picked up at Kinokuniya (pictures at above link)

I don't know why, but everytime I hear his name, I think of The Who. Huuuuuuuu Jin-tao! Hu Hu, Hu Hu....he's on the polit-buRO!. Yes, I wonk with a haphazard concern for pop culture.

I am not sure why I drew Hu other than he was in the issue of Newsweek I was perusing.
